Frisian Duck
Marijuana seeds Frisian Duck
If you want to grow outdoor cannabis plants that don't need to attract immediate attention, Frisian Duck is a great choice. These feminized cannabis seeds produce a plant that does not look like the average cannabis plant. It is therefore less likely to catch the eye outdoors, so you are most likely to harvest even then.
Plant with atypical appearance
The Frisian Duck will not easily be recognized as a cannabis plant because it has a rather atypical appearance. The leaves during the growing period look more like those of a maple tree than those of a cannabis plant.
The leaf shape also reminds many people of a duck's paw print, hence the name of these cannabis seeds. The plants grow about 1.5 meters tall indoors. Outdoors, they can grow into large plants as tall as 2.5 meters. In the greenhouse, specimens of 3 meters are no exception.
This plant also wants to expand quite a bit in width, so giving it enough space is important.
Suitable for stealth growing
.
Only experts will realize upon seeing the plant that this is a cannabis strain and not just any other random plant. This makes Frisian Duck very suitable for someone who wants to place the plant outdoors and finds it important that it is as unobtrusive as possible. Think of a sheltered spot in a city garden.
Genetics and yield Frisian Duck
.
Frisian Duck is a cross between DucksFoot and Frisian Dew produced by Dutch Passion. After years of experimenting with DucksFoot, this finally appears to be a winning combination.
Although the appearance of DucksFoot fascinated growers for a long time, the yield unfortunately remained low. Several cross attempts produced no improvement. The plant kept its shape but produced low yields each time. Until a cross with Frisian Dew was tried.
The resulting plants of Frisian Duck finally produced yields good enough to go for this plant. At last, the remarkable appearance of DucksFoot (which makes it so suitable for hidden outdoor cultivation) is combined with a good yield.
Feminized seeds
Frisian Duck seeds are feminized. Therefore you don't have to worry about filtering out male plants and that saves a lot of time and energy. Most cannabis seeds nowadays are feminized, because it makes growing easier. Growing your own weed has therefore become more fun, more economical and easier.
Not autoflower but photoperiod
Frisian Duck is not an autoflower so you will have to work with a balanced light schedule indoors. When you grow Frisian Duck outdoors, flowering will begin in late September or early October. The flowering period when you grow the plants indoors takes about eight weeks.
Smell and taste of Frisian Duck
.
The harvest of Frisian Duck smells of pine and a hint of citrus. Nice and spicy in other words. This remains the case when you smoke the weed, as it too has a nice spicy taste. It should be noted that the plants themselves give off very little smell. That is of course something that makes them even more suitable for a stealthy outdoor grow.
What high does this cannabis strain give?
The Frisian Duck gives a mild high that will keep you going. You become relaxed and feel comfortable without losing much of its brightness. This makes every activity even more fun because you are still experiencing everything to the fullest.
Suitable for beginner grower?
Frisian Duck is perfectly suitable for a beginning grower. This is because the plants need little work to bloom. For example, you don't have to pick the leaves to optimize the yield. In addition, these are feminized seeds so there is no need to filter out male plants either.
